Who we are looking for:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure. You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to automate processes, improve system reliability, and ensure scalable infrastructure using modern DevOps practices.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools preferably Terraform.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters both in the cloud and on-premises.
- Develop Helm charts to package, configure, and deploy applications in Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, applying SRE principles to ensure uptime and service quality.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment processes.
- Implement security best practices for infrastructure and application deployment.
- Provide incident management support as part of an SRE team.
- Set up and configure servers, networks, and storage solutions in customer environments.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements to prevent future occurrences.
- Document processes, architectures and systems for operational excellence.
Key skills required :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in Containerisation, DevOps, System administration and
- Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
- High growth mindset that challenges the status quo and focuses on unique ideas and solutions
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience with Terraform
- Container Orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm charts
- CI/CD via Github actions.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar cloud providers.
- Experience with monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
- Understanding of networking principles, firewalls, and security protocols.
