Who we are looking for

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Marketing Events Specialist to join our team in India. This role is pivotal in shaping our global events strategy and enhancing our brand presence worldwide. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive global events strategy, including the selection, assessment, and management of global events, vendors, as well as overseeing the logistics and execution of both virtual and in-person events.

This role will play a critical part in positioning RapidCanvas at industry-leading conferences, trade shows, and other key events globally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Build and implement a global events strategy that aligns with business objectives and enhances brand visibility.
  • Event Selection & Assessment: Identify and evaluate relevant industry events, conferences, webinars and trade shows for RapidCanvas to attend or sponsor. Conduct a thorough assessment of the potential impact and ROI of each event.
  • Vendor Management: Source, negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value maximization while staying aligned with company financial objectives.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with internal and cross functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Product) to align event strategies with broader company goals, ensuring cohesive messaging and representation.
  • Onsite Event Management: Lead the execution of events, managing onsite logistics, staffing, booth setup, and ensuring a seamless attendee experience.
  • Event Evaluation & Reporting: Measure event success against defined KPIs, provide post-event analysis, and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Regularly update senior leadership on event outcomes, upcoming opportunities, and strategic recommendations for future participation.

Key Skills Required

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in managing both virtual and in-person events on a global scale. Experience in managing events in the Tech or AI industry will be a plus.
  • Strong in project management with proven track record of successfully managing large-scale events or trade shows across multiple regions simultaneously
  • Familiarity with international markets across NA, EMEA, DACH, and APAC regions is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using event management software and CRM tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Should be open to travel globally as required for events.
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
